KIMMIE AUTRY-PEOPLES

Oral Communication

Kimmie Autry-Peoples grew up in Los Angeles and graduated in Westchester. She then attended Arkansas State University, before returning to California to teach in Inglewood at the Crozier Middle School and the Monroe Middle School, before spending time teaching at the Los Angeles County Alternative School. Her work there prepared her to work at Earle High School, where she has been since August of 2000.

Licensed to teach Speech and Communications, Mrs. Peoples is currently teaching 9th - 12th grades Personal Communication, Professional Communication, and Forensic Communication. If given the choice of any classes, though, she would choose Cooking, Speech Communication, and Journalism.

Growing up, Mrs. Peoples pictured herself as a Radio DJ, but we all know her as the down to earth and easy to get along with sponsor of the Cooking Club, where she teaches students how to cook an array of dishes from different cultures.
