EHS ANNUAL POETRY CONTEST!
Jasmine Ward won the annual Earle High School Poetry Contest with her poem, "Love X2." You can read her excellent poem below:

Love x2
Jasmine Ward
Love, however hard it tries,
Will always be glorious.
Love is inspirational. Heaven is splendiferous,
Love is celebrated, always and in many ways.
Pay attention to the admiration,
Admiration is the most affectionate approval of all.
Down, down, down into the darkness of the admiration,
Gently it goes to- the favored, the loved, and the loving ones.
Pay attention to the hate,
The hate is the most yellow dislike of all.
Are you upset by how jaundiced it is?
Does it tear you apart to see the hate so yellowish?
I cannot help but stop and look at the jealous God.
Does God make you shiver?
Does He?
One afternoon I said to myself,
"Why aren’t the favorites more sincere?"
Do the favorites make you shiver?
Do they?
MOTIVATING STUDENTS
Aramie Brooks, an Earle High School alum, came to motivate the students prior to testing week. He holds a bachelor's degree from North Western State University, played professional basketball internationally for 8 years, and now coaches basketball at SAU Tech. He is a devoted family man and a father of 2 girls. We were so thankful to hear him speak today!
